Superhero Slots: Hulk Ultimate Revenge

Hulk Ultimate Revenge is the third Cryptologic online slot game based on the monstrous green giant that has become such a large part of pop culture consciousness, and, in our opinion, the weakest. Ultimate Revenge is tied into the Marvel superhero progressive jackpot, so it gives you a shot of winning quite a bit more money than the Hulk Fruit Machine, but we’d take the latter any day.

If you are familiar with the story of mild-mannered scientist Bruce Banner and his incredible alter ego, then you will appreciate the look of this game, even if the graphics are truly substandard for an online slot from such a well-recognized brand as Cryptologic. Icons of the Hulk’s menacing face, broken SWAT team weapons, and the gamma radiation rays that created the monster are mixed in with colored icons of numbers and letters, which we consider to be a cop-out. Ultimate Revenge ostensibly is based around a storyline of the Hulk wreaking havoc on a police team dispatched to bring him down, but the theming is very weak.

The Hulk Ultimate Revenge online slot has a bonus game that is triggered when a player lands three or more explosion icons (the scatter symbol) at any positions on the five reels. You get to assist the Hulk in his rampage by choosing objects to throw at the SWAT helicopter. Once the chopper falls, the amount of free spins and the multiplier amount are revealed. You can choose to keep your free spins, or throw another item to pick again.
